Lago di Ledro is one of the most beautiful lakes in Italy, located in the Trentino region. It is located only about 12 km west of the larger and better known Lago di Garda and less than 30 km from the Rovereto barrel motorway exit.
Lago di Ledro is particularly popular with families with children who appreciate the quieter surroundings suitable for romantic walks around the lake and safe swimming in the crystal clear water. Last but not least, it is worth mentioning the significantly lower accommodation prices compared to nearby resorts on Lago di Garda such as Riva del Garda or Nago and Torbole.
In addition to walking or cycling, you can also rent pedal boats and go for a ride on the lake to observe the various water birds or fish, which are beautifully visible from the boat. At the edges and in the shallower parts you can see all the way to the bottom. The whole lake has very clear water and the newly landscaped beaches of fine pebbles are inviting for swimming. In the summer, there are also refreshment stands on the beach and lifeguards who supervise the safety of holidaymakers. In summer, the water temperature is around 21°C - 24°C.
