Sèn Jan di Fassa is a commune in the Val di Fassa in Trident, formed by the merger of Pozza di Fassa and Vigo di Fassa. It lies in the heart of the Dolomites and is a popular winter and summer sports resort. In winter it offers access to the Val di Fassa ski area, which is part of the Dolomiti Superski. In summer, it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking with trails leading to the Catinaccio and Sella massifs. The QC Terme Dolomiti thermal baths are located in the village. Culturally important is the local Ladin tradition, commemorated by the Museum of Ladin Culture. The Church of San Giovanni with its medieval frescoes is of historical interest. Sèn Jan di Fassa combines sports, relaxation and a rich cultural heritage.
