Ziano di Fiemme is the ideal place to spend your summer and winter holidays. It is the starting point for excursions in the surrounding area. It lies in the middle of the Val di Fiemme and is the ideal place to visit the surroundinglatemar and Cermis, where the conditions for downhill skiing are excellent. There is also a cross-country skiing area in the immediate vicinity. There is also a snow park for children. In the mountain resort of Ziano di Fiemme there is the parish church of Our Lady of Loreto, which dates back to 1666. The church has been renovated several times and features carved wooden doors. Inside the church there is an admirable sundial from 1835 and the Stations of the Cross from 1826. To the north of the centre of Ziano there are mines and deposits of red hematite.
