Canazei is strategically located as it is a very good base for trips to the Dolomites. Its altitude is 1460 m.n.m. It is known both in winter and in summer, because it really has something to offer. In summer, the cable cars take you to the viewpoints, from where we can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding mountains. The most popular are the Belvedere viewpoints (2377 m) or Passo Pordoi (2950 m). The village of Canazei is divided into other parts such as Alba, Gries and Penia di Canazei.
It is the largest town in the Val di Fassa and its ski resort is irreplaceable. Located 56 km from Bolzano at the foot of the Pordoi Pass, it offers up to 78 slopes with a total length of 150 km. 91 cable cars and lifts and 50 km of trails for lovers of cross-country skiing. Enjoy magnificent views from the Belvedere cable car, healthy walks to the Marmolada Group.
The center of Canazei is full of cafés, restaurants, pizzerias and patisseries. Visitors will also enjoy the wellness center with swimming pools, saunas, massages, which is located in the center of Canazei.
Canazei is also, like nearby Campitello, connected to the Sella Ronda circuit "Dolomiti Superski". During the day you can practice all sports, even the most extreme ... and at night, it lives here "après ski" and disco pubs full of fun!
