Pinzolo is a quieter and more traditional part of the Madonna di Campiglio ski area, located in the Val Rendena valley. This area is ideal for those looking for an authentic mountain atmosphere and a friendlier environment than the busier resort of Madonna di Campiglio. Pinzolo offers direct access to the extensive ski area, linked by cable cars to Madonna di Campiglio, and great conditions for skiers of all levels. As well as skiing, there are opportunities for winter sports such as snowboarding and cross-country skiing, as well as summer activities including hiking and cycling. The local historical centre with the Church of San Vigilio and the nearby Nardis waterfall are also of interest. Pinzolo is also known for its family atmosphere and the excellent regional cuisine on offer in traditional mountain restaurants.
