Set in the Tuscan countryside, Poggio all'Agnello Resort is 2 km from the coast, in a quiet location between San Vincenzo and Piombino. The original historic farmhouse has been completely renovated and consists of 8 buildings with a total of 202 apartments, a reception, a restaurant with bar, a conference room and a spacious car park. Guests can enjoy three swimming pools: an Olympic-size pool, a children's paddling pool and a heated pool with hydromassage, four sports fields (free during the day, with lighting in the evening for a fee) and a large garden with a park and a children's playground.
Wi-fi in public areas (included), laundry service for tokens, stay with your dog for €16/day (on request, only allowed in some apartments). There is also a mini-market, bike rental and parking on site. A beach minibus can be used for a fee (approx. June-August).
All apartments have TV, safe, air conditioning, hairdryer, telephone, some can be requested with extra bed or balcony/terrace. The price includes a reserved parking space (additional car for a fee).
Since 1.4.2012 the city of Piombino has introduced a so-called residence tax (tourist tax), payable locally on arrival and amounting to approx. 1,5 €/person/day (children under 12 years old free of charge).
