Important rules and tips for visiting dog beaches in Tuscany
As elsewhere, dog beaches in Tuscany have rules to follow. Public beaches are free, while private beaches (e.g. Pascià Glam Dog Beach) have an entrance fee. Dogs must be kept on a leash outside the designated off-leash areas. It is compulsory to clean up your dogs' excrement. Bags are usually available on the beach.
A dog vaccination certificate is required at most beaches. It is advisable to bring plenty of water and avoid the hottest hours of the day.
