The area of Calabria in Italy is located in the south of the country. In the west it is surrounded by the Tyrrhenian sea and in the east by the Ionic sea.  There are five provinces in Calabria- Cosenza, Crotone, Reggio di Calabria, Vibo Valentia and Catanzaro. "Calabrian peninsula" is one of the poorest regions in Europe. There is no industry and not many historical sights, but there are great conditions for scuba diving and an amazing cuisine. There are also magical natural sceneries with beautiful views and a mountanious terrain with umbrella pines. The location of Calabria guarantess warm weather from May till the end f October and there is a smaragd - like blue sea and untouched nature. There are also Calabrian Apenins in the area, three massive massifs which go along the coastline. There are also three national parks in this area -  - Parco Nazionale dell´Aspromonte, Parco Nazionale della Calabria and the park Pollino.
