San Nicola Arcella is a small calm town in the southern Italy, in Calabria. It is located at the reefs above the bay and it offers a view of the aquamarine sea and of the the little island Dino, which is not far away.
There is a ruin of a castle from the 14th century and a Roman guarding tower as well as a little square with ancent houses and a church from the 17th century in the historical centre of the town.
The resort San Nicola Arcela is popular for its calmness and silnce, the rather small beaches separated by rocks and also for the clear sea with tiny islands.
