The resort Briatico was established in the 12th century as a fishing settlement at the coast of Costa degli Dei, in the area of Capo Vaticano (Italy - Calabria). There are still ruins of the medieval castle at the coast: two out five towers. The beaches in Briatico are beautiful, some are with soft white sand, others are with little stones and reefs - it is an ideal place both for family holidays with children and the lovers of the undersea life.
The historical towns Pizzo, the popular Tropea and Zambrone with an acquapark are nearby. There are also many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.
