VOI Alimini Resort
Otranto.
The recently renovated 3-star VOI Alimini Resort is located right on the beachfront in Salento. It is about 10 km from Otranto and 90 km from Brindisi airport. A public bus to Otranto runs at approximately two-hour intervals during the day (+ 2 times at night), for a fee.
There are two sandy beaches near the hotel. Both offer free beach service (sunbeds and umbrellas, limited capacity), one beach has an animation programme, towels for a refundable fee of €20, exchange of towels for a fee of €2/exchange. At some times there is black volcanic sand or pebbles on the beach, so water shoes are recommended.
In addition to nice accommodation, the hotel offers a range of services, including: reception, Wi-Fi connection, freshwater pool (children's section), Gelsomoro wellness centre (aesthetic treatments, massages, hydro-massage pools, steam bath, sauna, emotional showers - entrance fee), animation programme, kids club (from 10:00 to 21:30 for children from 3 to 17 years - divided according to age), facilities for the youngest children up to 3 years (special food, equipment, kitchen - compulsory service for a compulsory fee), babysitting for a fee, unsupervised parking, electric car charging station, evening entertainment shows, bicycle rental (extra charge), tennis court, football pitch, beach volleyball court, ping-pong, outdoor fitness area, skittles court, street basketball court, individual sports classes (extra charge), bazaar, newsagent, ATM, shop, boutique, luggage storage and conference room.
Meals are half board with drinks (HB), full board with drinks (FB) or all inclusive (AI). Meals can be adapted for children, vegans, celiacs and people with intolerance to certain foods. Theme nights, gala evening, pizzeria. Meals start with dinner, end with breakfast or lunch (can be changed on request).
HB: buffet breakfast and dinner, drinks with dinner (water, house wine, beer and draught soft drinks, drinks not available at the bar).
FB: buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks with dinner (water, house wine, beer and soft drinks on tap, no drinks available at the bar).
AI: buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks with dinner (water, house wine, beer and draft soft drinks, no drinks available at the bar); unlimited water, soft drinks, beer, wine, tea, local spirits and a selection of alcoholic cocktails, coffee and juices at the bars from 10:00 to 00:00. Sweet and savoury snacks (2 times a day).
Alcohol, ice cream, canned and bottled drinks and extra food are available for a fee.
There is a bar on the beach called Chiringuito, where guests can order lunch, snacks, drinks. There is also a restaurant VOI Gusto (for a fee), VOI Ristobimbo (restaurant for Mini Club kids) and a poolside bar.
Superior rooms include beach service in the 1st row, minibar, coffee or tea set, free beach towel change, table reservation in the main restaurant Gli Ulivi, breakfast in the VOI Gusto restaurant and 50% discount on beauty services in the wellness centre.
For an extra charge: beach service from the second row onwards, minibar, table in the main restaurant, late check-out (at 1 pm), digital printing.
Guests over 11 years of age are required to pay a sojourn tax on site.
