In the heart of the Italian Dolomites, the 4-star Hotel Alaska is right in the centre of the famous ski resort of Cortina D'Ampezzo, around 300 metres from the Faloria ski lifts, 900 metres from Cortina-Colfiere-Col Drusciè and 1.5 km from Rocato. A ski school, a ski-alpinism school and a historic church are also nearby.
For guests there is a reception, a restaurant, a bar, a lift, a lounge with TV, a terrace, a meeting room for 80 people, a ski storage room, a luggage room, a gym, a laundry room for a fee. a mini club for children from 4 to 10 years (in Italian) and free wifi. Parking in the garage (max. height 2,50 m) from 20 €/day, only until availability (cannot be booked in advance).
Rooms are furnished in mountain style, mainly with wooden furniture, all with private bathroom. Child under 2 years old in room with parents without bed, cot available on request for a fee of 16 €/day.
Possibility of staying with a small dog for a fee of approx. 16 €/day (payable locally), to be requested when booking.
The hotel's restaurant Le Tofane offers typical local, national and international cuisine, and the hotel has an extensive wine list for wine lovers.
