The 4-star Sikania Resort is located in Marina di Butera, in the south of Sicily, just 200 metres from the beach. The resort is 115 km from Catania, home to Sicily's main airport Aeroporto Catania, and 61 km from the resort is the historic centre of Agrigento.
The hotel offers a range of services including a reception, Wi-Fi access, a pizzeria, a pool bar, three restaurants (the main restaurant Scirocco, the beach restaurant Sottovento and the Grill Restaurant), a car park (with limited capacity and a covered area), an airport transfer service (for a fee), a laundry service (for a fee), towel hire (for a fee) and a conference room. Guests are required to pay a club card at a cost of €5/day/person aged 3 to 11 years and €7/day/person over 11 years. The club card entitles its holder to access to the swimming pools (1 adult, 1 children's), the sports areas, the Junior Club, the Mini Club, the playground, the animation programme and the beach service (1 parasol and 2 sun loungers per room, subject to availability). For children up to 3 years of age, it is necessary to purchase a Baby Club Card at a cost of € 20/day, thanks to which the hotel will provide them with a cot, highchair, bath, stroller, bottle warmer, placemat with special cutlery, TV with children's channels, laundry service of 1 kg per day and a corner with baby bottles with milk and baby food at set times.
There is also a newsagent, a pharmacy and a souvenir and beach shop right on the resort. There is a tennis and beach volleyball court on the beach. The hotel offers wind-surfing lessons, paddleboard and kayak rentals (fees apply).
Meals are full board with drinks: a rich breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10:00, lunch and dinner with a choice of meat, fish, vegetarian dishes, legumes, vegetables, fruit and desserts. Drinks from self-service vending machines are included in the price (soft drinks, water, local wine). Alcoholic drinks including beer are not included. The hotel hosts a weekly sangria party at the pool.
The hotel accommodates small pets up to 10 kg, they must be on a leash in the hotel and only in the designated areas. The price for dog accommodation is 15 €/day + 40 € for final cleaning.
