Caorle is one of the most popular resorts in northern Italy and is chosen every year by many people, especially families with children. Caorle has its historic center with romantic winding streets and a tourist harbor. Few people know that the winding streets in the center of Caorle used to be water canals several hundred years ago, which were later backfilled. Caorle was once like little Venice!
Now Caorle is a popular tourist resort, especially for its sandy beaches with a gradual entry into the sea, a short distance from the Czech Republic and the opportunity to choose accommodation near the center, but also in a quiet residential area.
Today, Caorle is divided into 3 parts - Caorle, Caorle Porto Santa Margherita and Caorle Altanea. The historic center, the port and the water park are right in Caorle. Porto Santa Margherita is separated from Caorle only by the Livenza River and is a modern, pleasant resort with a long beach and all services. The last part is Caorle Altanea - a resort built on a green field, where you will find modern accommodation, especially villas with swimming pools.

The beach is covered in sea shells, there are many beach vendors with towels, sunglasses, kites, handbags…the breakwaters allow for a chase of crabs for children, for building of sand castles, etc. There are toilets, showers and a beach bar. There are also hair dressers who make rasta hairstyles.

How did we spend our vacation in Caorle

The premises is newly built, with a swimming pool in the centre – half of it is for children (not so deep) and there were free sun beds available. The whole resort is fenced in, so it is secure. The apartment was spacy (we had an apartment for 7 people and I very much appreciated the two bathrooms), the beach is 700 m away, but there is a little shuttle train. In sum, we really enjoyed it and we are planning to come back again.

We always enjoy our holidays. We like it so much that we always come to Caorle and only with Italieonline. The travel with a bus was even better this year thanks to the great bus drivers. We have also experienced the celebrations of Madona, which takes place every 5 years. The whole Caorle was nicely decorated as shown on our pictures.
