Caorle - Porto Santa Margherita is farther part of the popular resort of Caorle, built in the mid-20th century on the other bank of the Livenza River. There are many apartment residences and terraced villas, almost all designed for a relaxing summer vacation by the sea. Of course, there are also shops, restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors, for children there are playgrounds and various attractions. Sandy beaches with a gradual entry into the water are suitable for all ages.
Porto Santa Margherita is situated approximately 2 km from the historic center of Caorle, and during the summer season you can use the ferry across the Livenza River to shorten your journey (ferry pedestrians, cyclists and cars). On the outskirts of the resort there is a sports port (located in the inner part of the town so it does not disturb your stay on the beach), where small fast boats and larger comfortable yachts are moored.
