The magnificent natural area of Capo Vaticano is considered the most beautiful of all Calabria, famous for its sandy beaches, rocky cliffs and crystal sea. It is located near the historic town of Tropea on the westernmost rocky promontory between the Golfo di S. Eufemia and Golfo di Gioia Tauro, from the coast you can see the opposite Aeolian Islands and from somewhere even the largest island of Italy - Sicily.
But Capo Vaticano also offers a glimpse of the traditional southern Italian way of life, full of traditions that have been preserved here. In summer, concerts, theatre and dance performances and various exhibitions are held here.
Everyone can enjoy a holiday here - you can laze on the small beaches and swim in the clear crystal clear water or go diving or snorkelling and explore the headland, reefs and underwater caves.
