For wine lovers, we recommend the Chianti region, famous for its wineries, where you can taste the world-famous Tuscan wine.

Also worth a trip is Assisi, the hometown of St Francis, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
If you prefer to head out into the countryside, Lake Trasimeno, surrounded by hills, is ideal for relaxation and water sports.
