The mountain resort of Tarvisio is located in the north-eastern part of Italy - Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Tarvisio is situated at an altitude of 754 m in the Val Canale region, almost at the border of Italy with Austria and Slovenia. Thanks to its unique position in the middle of the Julian Alps, it enjoys a long winter with plenty of snowfall, with a white blanket from November to April.
