It is a kind of garden of joy, described by its creator, the French-American architect and sculptor Niki de Saint Phalle, as "A little corner of paradise. A place where man meets nature".
In the heart of the Maremma Grosseto, 200 km from Florence and 130 km from Rome, there is an amusement park which, with its shapes, colours and materials, is very reminiscent of Gaudi's work in Barcelona. Have you ever heard of the Tarot Garden?
The garden is located on the outskirts of Capalbio, in the Garavicchio locality, on an area of about 2 hectares and contains 22 sculptures depictingof tarot card arcana, up to 15 metres high, made of steel and concrete and covered with mirrors, glass and coloured ceramics.
