The Alpine town of Monclassico is located in the Val di Sole at altitude.at an altitude of 790 m, on the edge of the Dolomiti di Brenta and close to the famous ski resorts of Folgarida and Marilleva.
In the historic centre, the square with the fountain is definitely worth a visit, where there is also an ancient house with a large frescoed decoration dating from 1511 and the church of San Vigilio. During the last few years, artists from all over Italy have been coming in the summer to paint the typical sundials (meridiane) that characterise Monclassico on a few selected buildings.
