The town of Dimaro ( altitude 766 m) is located in a sunny position in the Val di Sole, in the Italian National Park Parco Naturale Adamello - Brenta.since 1 January 2016, Dimaro, Folgarida and Carciato form part of a newly merged resort called Dimaro Folgarida (formed by the merger of Dimaro and Monclassico).
The area offers many leisure activities - in winter you will find the Folgarida-Marilleva ski area with morewith more than 50 km of ski slopes or 70 km of cross-country skiing trails, while in summer, hiking, cycling and rafting on the Noce River are very popular.
