lignano Sabbiadoro is a resort in northern Italy. There is no railway or motorway to the resort, but it is very accessible by car and bus.
The town of Lignano Sabbiadoro was built in the second half of the 20th century, so you will find practically only hotels and holiday apartments. Yet the resort is so popular! Why? Lignano Sabbiadoro boasts over 6 km of wide, golden sandy beaches and a sea with a gradual entry into the water. It is therefore an ideal resort for families with children or senior citizens.
The resort itself is divided into three parts. The busiest part - Sabbiadoro - with a rich day and night life, where you will find shops, bars and discos. The quieter part - Pineta - with hotels and holiday apartments, which is heavily covered with pine trees and pine trees. The greenest and quietest part of Lignano is the Riviera, which is at the mouth of the Tagliamento River and is where there are fewer hotels and more campsites. However, there is also a marina and a golf course.
At the eastern end of Lignano, the historic Faro Rosso lighthouse is a popular walking destination. In Lignano Pineta, there is a water park with plenty of rides, slides and water slides. And if the weather doesn't suit you, you can visit the local zoo, Parco Zoo Punta Verde.
