ATTRACTIONS IN GARDALAND

Attractions

Gardaland is one of Europe's most popular parks and is also very nicely themed - most of themost of the roller coasters or water rides offer their own fairy tale or thrilling adventure story. Among the typical and untypical attractions, the Giant Wheel, the Icarus, the Centrifuge, the Carcaterpillar, rainforest or wild west rides and more. Young children will be captivated by the giant fairy-tale tree depicted on most posters and brochures.
The most interesting attractions are the roller coasters of all kinds:

  • Blue Tornado - a suspended roller coaster with 5 looping rides and a max speed of 110km/hr with 5G overload! Unlike regular roller coasters it has tracks on top, the ride measures 760m and is 35m high. the ride was one of the first of its kind in Europe (1995) and was made in the USA. Compared to conventional roller coasters, the tracks are on top. Blue Tornado is one of the top roller coasters of its kind and one of the fastest roller coasters ever.
  • Magic Mountain - a roller coaster with 4 loopings and speeds up to 90km/h. The coaster is almost 700m long and 35m high. This is the first steel coaster in the park (1985).
  • I Corsari - this pirate ride is the only underground water ride of its kind in Europe. You float in a boat 30 - 40m underground in dark caves, everything is fully automated and there is no one else except the visitors. The attraction took 5 years to build and the 1996 acquisition cost is equivalent to around 50 million euros.
  • Colorado Boat - water coaster. First you will sail on a raft on the wild water and then you will be lowered from a height of 30 m into the water.
  • Jungle Rapids - a water coaster that takes you into a real jungle full of waterfalls and traps. Boats for 6 people float on very strong water.
  • Sequoia Adventure - a unique and adventurous roller coaster. For most of the ride the visitor is upside down, the view alone is only for the brave !
  • The Spectacular 4D Adventure - a unique 4D cinema that Gardaland introduced in 2005 as the first in Europe. Now also 5D.
  • Mammut - The longest and newest family roller coaster, based on the movie "Ice Age". It is 1100 m long and the ride takes almost three minutes. This 2008 ride is the only one of its kind in Europe.

In addition to the attractions, the park also has several restaurants, pizzerias, fast food restaurants, bars and cafes, a supermarket, a hairdresser and a pharmacy. Everything has a fairytale touch and thus fully fits into the playful atmosphere.
