Rosolina is located between the mouths of the Adige and Po rivers, 70 km south of Venice. It is located in the UNESCO-listed Parco Nazionale Delta del Po.
The town is divided into three parts - Rosolina, Rosolina Mare and the island of Albarella.
On the coast, near the mouth of the Adige, we find the Rosolina Mare section. It is a small, quiet and popular resort with wide sandy beaches 9 km long. In winter it has a permanent population of about 400, while in summer it sees up to 50,000 visitors.
Albarella is an island of 5 x 1.5 km. The island, wooded with pine and poplar trees, is privately owned and only residents and visitors to the accommodation are allowed. Since the 1960s it has been primarily a centre of elite tourism. Here you will find many beautiful villas with private pools, two hotels, several restaurants, a golf course and an open-air "zoo". Car traffic is limited here, and the bicycle is a popular means of transport. If you go for a morning jog or walk, you will often come across a rabbit or a deer or other animal inhabitants of this beautiful island. We recommend Albarella especially for a quiet holiday in nature.
