Alassio is a charming resort on the Ligurian coast, attracted especially by its long sandy beach and turquoise sea. The beach is ideal for families, thanks to its fine sand and gradual entry into the water. The town is famous for its "Muretto", a wall covered with colourful ceramic tiles signed by famous people. The historic centre offers cosy cafés, restaurants and boutiques where you can sample local Ligurian specialities and discover Italian fashion. Alassio is also a great starting point for excursions to the surrounding mountains or neighbouring historic towns.
