The historic town of Taormina lies on the east coast of Sicily. The town is built at the foot of Monte Tauro and is considered the most charming place on the island. A very important monument is the Taormina Teatro Greco. The streets of the resort are full of shops, restaurants, bars, pizzerias and pastry shops. Taormina still retains its ancient appearance and pleasant atmosphere. In addition to the architectural monuments, the azure sea and beautiful beaches attract tourists.
