Sampieri is a small seaside town in Sicily, belonging to the municipality of Scicli. It lies on the southern coast of the island in the UNESCO-listed Val di Noto area. Compared to the larger resorts, it retains a traditional atmosphere with narrow streets and fishermen's houses. The biggest attraction is the long sandy beach, lined with dunes and crystal clear sea. At the eastern end of the beach is the abandoned Fornace Penna factory, famous from the Italian series about Commissioner Montalban.

Sampieri is ideal for a quiet holiday, offering restaurants with local Sicilian specialities such as fresh fish and seafood. Evenings can be spent strolling along the promenade or sitting in one of the bars. Its location also makes it a base for visiting Scicli, Modica and Ragusa. The resort is popular for its tranquillity, natural beauty and authentic Sicilian atmosphere.
