1. Naples and its history
Naples, the capital of Campania, is one of the oldest cities in Europe. It is known for its rich history and fascinating monuments such as the Neapolitan Castle (Castel Nuovo), the Royal Palace (Palazzo Reale) and the magnificent churches. The city is also home to world-famous pizza.
2. Pompeii and Herculaneum

This active stratovolcano is one of the most famous volcanoes in the world. Its eruption in 79 AD destroyed Pompeii and Herculaneum. Today, you can hike to the top of the Vesuvius crater and enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside and the Bay of Naples.
4. Amalfi Coast
The Amalfi Coast (Costiera Amalfitana) is renowned for its stunning beauty and dramatic scenery. It is an area with picturesque towns such as Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. Here you can enjoy beautiful beaches, breathtaking sea views and magnificent architecture.
5. Ischia and Capri
Both of these islands lie in the Gulf of Naples and are popular tourist destinations. Capri is famous for its blue cave (Grotta Azzurra) and beautiful villas, while Ischia is famous for its thermal springs and spas.
6. Royal Palace of Caserta
The Royal Palace of Caserta (Reggia di Caserta) is one of the largest palaces in Europe. Its baroque architecture and magnificent gardens are often compared to the palaces of Versailles in France.
7. Culinary specialties
Campania is known for its exceptional cuisine. In addition to world-famous pizza, you can enjoy fresh seafood, pasta dishes such as spaghetti alle vongole (spaghetti with clams), and desserts such as sfogliatella, a traditional Italian pastry.
8. Sorrentine Coast
This coast is famous for its olive groves, vineyards and picturesque villages. the Sorrentine Coast is the perfect place for romantic walks and tastings of local produce, including limoncello, a local lemon liqueur.
