The dog beach is located in the Lignano Sabbiadoro area on the Lungomare Marin street near the beach office No.1, it's called Doggy Beach and it's the only place on the entire 8km of Lignano coastline where dogs are allowed on the beach and in the water. Entrance to the beach is free and you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds if you wish.

Each dog must be vaccinated against rabies (vaccination card or dog passport with you), be on a leash of min. 1,5 m, have a chip or tattoo and a muzzle (in case of necessity), insurance for the dog is also obligatory.
After approximately two hours it is necessary to take the dog for a walk off the beach, of course it is necessary to take the dog with you.it is a good idea to pick up after your dog on the beach and in the resort (otherwise there is a heavy fine).
Aggressive dogs of any size and even bitches that play are not allowed on the beach. To avoid unnecessary irritation to dogs, it is forbidden to play with balls or throw frisbees etc. in this area.
