Bolzano, the capital of South Tyrol, is where Italian elegance meets Alpine culture. Hidden in the Dolomites, this city offers a unique mix of history, gastronomy, nature and modern life.

Bolzano has always been an important commercial centre due to its location at the crossroads of European routes. The medieval centre of the town still retains its charm. The historic centre is dominated by the Gothic Cathedral of the Assumption, whose tower, decorated with stone lace, is the symbol of the city. Walking along Via dei Portici, the main shopping street full of arcades, you can discover traditional Tyrolean architecture combined with Italian charm.
