The Nervi district, located in the easternmost part of Genoa, rises above a cliff along which a two-kilometre promenade winds between parks and cliffs, overlooking the sea. At the start of the path there is a view of the characteristic Porticciolo di Nervi and the Portofino promontory. On a clear day, you might even catch a glimpse of the Corsican skyline. On the Anita Garibaldi promenade, the 16th-century Gropallo tower, which was used for ship-watching, is also worth a visit. At the end of the walk you will arrive at the seaside village of Capolungo with its beautiful small beach.
Don't miss the parks in Nervi, which can be reached either from the promenade or directly from the town centre. They cover an incredible 92,000 square metres between Via Aurelia and the sea.
Located in the Villa Saluzzo Serra. There are important collections from the 19th-21st centuries, thematically related to Liguria.
