Lago di Garda has a total of 25 tributaries, but the most interesting is the Aril River (also called the Ri). It flows through Cassone near the town of Malcesine and is considered the shortest river in the world!

The official recognised length is 175 metres, but many measurements show several metres less.despite its length, it is a real river, not just a stream, as it has its own source and bed and empties into Lake Garda.
