The park was founded in 2004 by the couple Piero and Rosalba Giadrossi. Their aim was to create a space where contemporary sculpture would blend harmoniously with the surrounding nature. The result is more than 7 hectares of forest, where each work of art is tailor-made for a specific place and blends perfectly with it.
Each sculpture or installation was created by an artist from a different part of the world. The park thus represents a variety of styles, materials and ideas that together create a unique dialogue between culture, art and nature.

What will you find in the park?
The Parco Sculture del Chianti consists of various sculptures, installations and interactive works spread along an approximately one kilometre long path. Among the most interesting works are:
- The Glass Labyrinth by British artist Jeffry Kooons, which entices visitors to play with light and shadow.
- The amphitheatre, which is one of the highlights of the park. It is built of marble and travertine, materials typical of Tuscany, and is used to host various cultural events such as concerts, theatrical performances and dance performances.
- A colourful tunnel by the Belgian artist Federico di Zamo, which evokes movement and time.
- Rhythmic sound installations that add an acoustic dimension to visual art.
