The winter resort of Kronplatz is located at an altitude of 2,275 m above sea level. It lies in the south of the Tyrolean Dolomites, between the Zillertal Alps in the north and the Dolomites in the south.you will find 116 km of downhill runs (8 black, 15 red and 39 blue), a snow park, night skiing for 1 km, 300 km of cross-country ski trails.
In terms of slope categories, you will find everything that beginners require. For example, there is a full-length run that is quite wide and easy to get downhill into the valley, so even beginners don't have to worry about night skiing. On the other hand, the " Black Five " slope takes you on five black runs, requiring some skill. From 2,275 m up to Reischach there are two black slopes, one leading to the Furkel Pass and one taking you directly to Pikolein, from where you can head towards the resort of Alta Badia and connect to the world-famous Sella Ronda circuit. Snowboarders and freestylers won't be disappointed either.
You can do all this on a Dolomiti Superski ski pass , because every athlete here will not miss the aforementioned Alta Badia valley, where the shuttle runs directly from Pikolein. The ride takes 20 minutes, you put your skis back on and the Sella Ronda circuit is yours.
