Grosseto is the capital of the province of the same name in Tuscany, surrounded by beautiful countryside and historical monuments. The town is famous for its well-preserved medieval architecture, including the impressive city walls and historic buildings such as the San Lorenzo Cathedral and Piazza Dante, where various cultural events and markets are held.

Grosseto differs from other Tuscan towns in its quieter atmosphere and authentic local life. There are beautiful Maremma beaches nearby, such as in the Marina di Grosseto area, which offer the opportunity to relax by the sea. An interesting feature is the proximity of the Maremma Natural Park, which is ideal for hiking and cycling, as well as for wildlife watching.

The town is also known for its excellent cuisine, which includes local specialities such as Morellino di Scansano wine and various dishes made with fresh fish and seafood. Cultural life in Grosseto is rich, with regular festivals, concerts and exhibitions that attract both locals and tourists.
