Cancellation insurance - Colonnade

All types of accommodation can be accompanied by separate trip cancellation or curtailment insurance.

If you are unable to take your holiday for a serious reason and have to cancel it, the insurance company will pay you a partial refund of the cancellation fees you had to pay in connection with the cancellation.

The insurance also covers the risks associated with Covid-19 disease - for example, if you are quarantined (due to contact, illness in the family, etc.) or directly due to contracting Covid-19 disease.

This insurance covers events that make it impossible to take leave due to serious illness, accident or death of the participant or a relative. Details and any exclusions can be found on the insurer's website.
The total amount of compensation is limited to € 12,000 per policy and the insured's deductible is 10%. Upon cancellation of the tour, the travel agency will issue a confirmation of the amount of cancellation fees charged. The participant will submit this certificate together with a doctor's certificate and the relevant form to the insurance company, which will then pay 90% of the cancellation fees.

Insurance commences upon conclusion of a valid travel contract and payment of the total tour price or a 50% deposit (all payments must be made in due course). The end of the insurance is the moment of embarkation or eventual claim. The cancellation fee for cancellation of the insurance is always 100% of the premium.

Cancellation fee insurance is subject to a premium of 4% of the tour price.
