The beach in Bibione became the first public beach in Italy to be designated as a non-smoking beach. Special smoking areas have been set aside for smokers so that everyone can enjoy their seaside holiday in peace.
Choice of beach service in Bibione
On our website you can choose a large number of accommodation facilities throughout Bibione. It is always indicated next to the offer what the price includes and often there is a beach service included. Beach service means that the price already includes 1 umbrella + 2 beach chairs/beds (valid from the 4th row onwards, front rows can be booked at an extra cost). Upon arrival, you will then go to our partner agency, where you will complete all formalities, collect the keys to the apartment and the voucher for the beach service. With this voucher, you will go to the beach to the booth marked "CASSA" (Italian for "cashier"), where you will choose a suitable free umbrella, which you will have reserved for the duration of your stay. So if you are planning a holiday with friends, just go to the ticket office with two vouchers and choose umbrellas side by side.
Booking beach service online
If you don't have beach service included in the price, you can buy it online directly on the Bibione Spiaggia website. After logging in, all you have to do is choose the date, the beach sector (to suit the location of your accommodation) and then you can choose your specific parasol. Payment is simply by credit card and you will receive a confirmation of your beach service reservation in the mail.
Beaches for dogs
Italy is also a pioneer in setting up beaches for dogs. In recent years, new dog beaches have been created, especially in the northern Adriatic. Over the years, dog owners have taken over the unofficial dog beaches for themselves. These beaches are smaller than the official ones and can be very crowded in high season. As a rule, these are unmaintained beaches or the mouth of a river in the sea. The official dog beaches are visibly marked with a sign stating that it is a dog beach. The largest and most beautiful dog beach is located in Bibione in the Lido dei Pini - La spiaggia di Pluto. You can also use the beach service with umbrellas and sun loungers or just relax on the open beach, which stretches for about 1.5 km. The beach regulations only apply to the paid part with umbrellas and sunbeds, where dogs of different sizes or holidaymakers with several dogs can use the beach.
There is also internet access on the beaches of Bibione. A prepaid internet card can be purchased at the tobacconist. Prices for cards are around €15/week.
