Cesenatico is a seaside town with a historical centr at the coast of the Jordan Sea in the central part of Italy called Emilia Romagna, between the towns Ravenna and Rimini. It was established in 1302 as a fishing village and it is still possible to see the ruins of the walls from the 14th century.
The centre of Cesenatico is around the old harbour canal Porto Canale, which was built by Leonardo da Vinci and which still functions as a harbour for the typical little fishing boats. There are many delicious restaurants with the local cuisine in the area.
Apart from the history Cesenatico offers its visitors also hotels and apartments, shops, sports facilities and mainly long sandy beaches with a gradual entrance into the sea, blue clear sea and a warm atmosphere.
