Design inspired by the sea and light

The design of Toledo station is inspired by the sea and light. The main feature is the "Crater de Luz" - a large conical opening that runs through all levels of the station, allowing natural light to penetrate. This element is surrounded by mosaics in shades of blue and silver that evoke the underwater world. Other artworks include mosaics by William Kentridge and an installation by Robert Wilson, which contribute to the overall atmosphere of the station.

Toledo Station contains artworks such as William Kentridge mosaics and Robert Wilson installations that contribute to the overall atmosphere of the station.

Toledo Station in Naples has won several prestigious awards. In 2013, it received the Emirates LEAF Award for Best Public Building of the Year. in 2015, it was awarded the International Tunnelling Association's Oscar of Underground Buildings, beating projects from Sydney and Jerusalem.
