The Terme di Merano opens onto a beautiful spa park and its modern architecture, designed by the famous architect Matteo Thun, blends harmoniously with the surrounding countryside. The glass walls of the buildings let in natural light and offer views of the surrounding mountains, creating a sense of connection with the landscape even when relaxing inside. World-class thermal pools and wellness facilities
The spa offers 26 pools! 15 indoor and 11 outdoor pools with thermal water rich in radon and other minerals that have positive effects on joints, skin and overall immunity. In the summer you can enjoy the outdoor pools spread out in the extensive park, while in the winter you will warm up in the indoor wellness area with hot springs and relaxation zones.
The indoor area of the spa includes 15 pools with water temperatures ranging from 18°C to 37°C. You will find a spacious 240 m² pool with massage jets and the possibility of swimming to the outdoor area, a saltwater pool (35 °C), a warm and cold pools (37 °C / 18 °C) suitable for Kneipp therapy, thermal pools (33 °C) with a moderate radon content, a children's pool (34 °C) and whirlpools.
In the summer months, the outdoor area opens with 11 pools set in a 52,124 m² thermal park with views of the surrounding mountains. Here you will find a chemical-free natural swimming pool, a sports pool, a non-swimming pool (28°C) and a children's pool (28 °C), a stream pool, a Kneipp walkway, a cooling pool (25 °C) and more.
In addition to the pool, the spa also offers saunas, of course. You can choose between the South Tyrolean organic hay sauna, the steam bath or the Finnish sauna. Depending on your preferred temperature, you can relax in the steam bath and admire the flowing Passer River or enjoy the scent of hay blossoms while watching the traditional hay harvest.

One of the unique features of Terme di Merano is the use of local natural products in massages and wellness treatments. the menu includes a wide range of treatments, from beauty treatments, massages, skin care to hair removal and more. Carefully selected products are used in all treatments, including natural cosmetics and ingredients from South Tyrol, such as honey and local herbs.
