The sojourn tax (tassa di soggiorno / imposta di soggiorno) is a local tourist tax levied by the municipality on guests staying overnight in its territory. The tax is used to finance local tourism: maintenance of beaches and public areas, security, cleaning and other services related to the stay of tourists.

When the tourist tax in Bibione is paid

  • Residence tax season: 1 May to 30 September each year

  • A maximum of 10 nights per personis charged - the other nights are not charged (this means that if you stay in Bibione for e.g. 14 nights, you only pay the tax for the first 10 nights)
