In the heart of the Tuscan town of Collodi, there is a place that seems to have come straight out of a children's book - the Pinocchio Park (Parco di Pinocchio). This magical park is the perfect destination for families with children, but also for anyone who loves fairy tales, art and a bit of nostalgia.

If you're looking for a place where you can return for a while to a childhood world full of fantasy, head to the small Tuscan town of Collodi. It is here that you will find the magical Pinocchio Park - Parco di Pinocchio, which is perfect for a trip with the kids or for anyone who wants to relax in a slightly different world.

What can you expect in the park?

The park is full of original sculptures, mosaics and wooden installations that tell the famous story of the wooden boy Pinocchio. But don't expect a noisy amusement park - rather a quiet, playful place where everything revolves around art, imagination and nature.

Sculptures and scenes from the story
Throughout the park, you'll find iconic moments from the story - Pinocchio on the run, the Blue-haired Fairy, the Kingthe mourning-faced characters, or the giant shark (often mistaken for a whale) that looks like it's about to swallow you up at any moment. Children will be thrilled by this, and adults will enjoy the beautiful artwork.

Pinocchio's Cottage
A wooden cabin that looks like it's just been abandoned by Geppetto - a great stop for little ones. All the details are cute, playful and tasteful at the same time.

Puppet Theatre and Interactive Zone
The park also occasionally hosts performances and workshops - painting, mask making, and of course, the chance to try your hand at puppetry. In the summer there are often outdoor theatre performances.

Rope park and playgrounds
For a bit of adventure, there is also a small rope park among the trees - safe and fun for smaller children. And there are classic play elements, swings, slides or places where children can play freely.

But that's not all!

Right next to the park is the beautiful baroque garden of Villa Garzoni - with cascading fountains, statues, terraces and a perfect view of the surroundings. If you love gardens and history, this place will enchant you. It is elegant, quiet and very photogenic.

Villa Garzoni

The grounds at Villa Garzoni include a butterfly house - a greenhouse where dozens of exotic butterflies from all over the world fly around. Here you will find tropical plants, a humid climate and a completely different atmosphere. The butterflies perch on the flowers, and sometimes on visitors.

Pinocchio Park in Collodi is no tourist mass. It's more of a cosy, artistic world where everything slows down and lets you dream for a while. Whether you're coming with kids or just want to enjoy something original in the beautiful surroundings of Tuscany, this trip is definitely worth it.
