Molveno is the starting point for Alpine mountain excursions to the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. A cable car leads directly from the town centre to the Pradel plateau (1400 m above sea level), where a large number of trails and ferrata begin. One of the most famous ferrata is the "Sentiero delle Bocchette"- a classic that still has a strong appeal.
