Calanè Resort is located in the south of Italy in the Apuglie region in the Ethra Resort complex, about 5.5 km from Castellaneta Marina. It is set in the beautiful Stornara Nature Reserve, which consists of a picturesque pine forest, a fine sandy beach and clear sea. It offers a mix of comfort, services, sports, music, entertainment and relaxation.
The large private sandy beach is easily accessible by shuttle bus. Each room has a dedicated one umbrella with sun lounger and recliner. There are also changing rooms, showers and a bar on the beach. The resort has a seawater swimming pool with hydromassage and a pool designed for children.
Guests have access to the facilities of Ethra Thalasso SPA, the exclusive spa at Kalidria Hotel & Thalasso SPA. Here there are two seawater pools, thalassotherapy, massages, Turkish bath, an outdoor wellness oasis with Jacuzzi, solarium and fitness area. These services are chargeable.
Meals are provided in the form of soft all-inclusive (SAI) - the main restaurant offers mainly buffet meals with cooking shows. Filtered water is served with meals. Lunch can also be enjoyed on the beach under the shade of an umbrella (Sea Box must be booked in advance for the whole room) or in the Scirò restaurant overlooking the sea (buffet). During the evening it is possible to visit Pinseria Ethra with its à la carte menu or the gourmet restaurant Il Gusto. Specialist restaurants can be visited once a week within FB and reservations must be made in advance.
The hotel's animation team provides daily entertainment in the form of evening shows, musical performances, sports and card tournaments, board games, sports and dance lessons. Other services provided include free Wi-Fi, medical assistance, car and e-bike rental, parking and conference rooms.
